Toyota Motor will reorganize production organization towards the increase of production of the new model "Prius" of a sale schedule in spring of 09. From 堤工場 (Toyota-shi, Aichi) which will produce Prius etc. around April, 09, the management of production of a minivan "wish" is transferred to the Tahara factory (Aichi Tahara). At 堤工場, Prius is produced in two-line organization. Toyota will be planning to produce new style Prius monthly [ of the increase of ratio 70% / about 40,000 ] for 07 years. It estimates also at the further increase and production organization is fixed.
堤工場 produces six types of a car, such as a medium size sedan "Camry" besides Prius with two line. Since remaining power is born by change of jurisdiction of a wish, Prius of two lines is produced in great numbers.
The management of a wish is transferred to the Tahara factory which deals with the Lexus vehicle or a sport multipurpose vehicle (SUV) "RAV4" at the time of a model change. The volume of production is an 8000 monthly prospect. By the operation of the Canada new factory which produces RAV4, since spare productive capacity arises at the Tahara factory, a wish is newly supplied.
It is production organization reorganization to Toyota and the new style "Prius" increase of production.
